Total Cost of Ownership/Acquisition Model

A study that provides decision makers with an in-depth discussion of products and their financial benefits over competing solutions. TCA models reflect the out-of-pocket costs paid on Day One, and includes the purchase cost of all hardware and software, plus the initial cost for the first term of any maintenance contracts. Unlike the TCA model, TCO models are analyzed over a fixed timeline. All cost components are included in a TCO as either capital costs or along with all other spending to sustain operations, including all maintenance, power, and space costs. TCA/TCO models helps salesforces and partners demonstrate the true financial impact of an IT decision.

Total Cost of Ownership/Acquisition Calculator

Once the TCO/TCA analysis has been completed, an online TCO/TCA calculator can be developed. This is an excellent way to draw potential clients in and drive them to sales inquiry landing pages. The strategy is to provide them with the ability to set certain parameters, provide them with immediate summarized results and provide details as long as they enter their contact information, which is then forwarded to sales.
